For OEM deployment, Dataplex utilizes a "Write-Around" cache policy which means that all data is always on the primary HDD. In addition to robustness, the Write-Around" cache policy enables the use of very low capacity SSD's for caching, without the risk of SSD endurance issues. In systems utilizing 5400RPM HDD's, Dataplex can be used with a 24GB mSATA SSD (optionally allocating a 4-8GB partition for Intel FFS), and will exceed Ultrabook Responsiveness Criteria by > 25%. Dataplex delivers the ultimate in cache performance efficiency for Window 7 and Windows 8 systems.
