About Us

NVELO, Inc. is a pioneer in innovative storage software, bringing new intelligence into storage subsystems to break the I/O bottleneck in today's computing systems. NVELO was formed as a spin-off company during the acquisition of Denali Software by Cadence Design Systems in June 2010. The R&D for its flagship product "Dataplex", started within Denali, and is now in the process of being introduced to the market through PC OEMs and SSD vendors. The company has begun development of a enterprise class storage product designed specifically for server storage caching. NVELO is a privately held company with headquarters in Santa Clara California.

Management Team

Jiurong Cheng

President/CEO

As chief executive officer Jiurong is responsible for the overall strategic vision of NVELO, and leads research and development. Prior to NVELO, Jiurong served as the vice president of software engineering during his 12 year tenure at Denali Software. He brings over 25 years of experience in both start-up and established software organizations. Mr. Cheng holds an MS in Mathematics from the University of Arizona.

Mary Oria

Controller

Mary is responsible for NVELO finance and accounting, which includes strategic planning, budgeting, taxation, and NVELO's ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with modern accounting. She most recently held the position of controller, and managed the finance division during her 12 year tenure at Denali Software. Ms. Oria holds a BS in Business Administration/Accounting from California State Hayward.

David Lin

Vice President Product Management

David is responsible for NVELO's overall product portfolio, including defining and refining product strategies, processes and objectives, as well as go-to-market strategies for new products. He previously served as the vice president of product marketing during his 13 years with Denali Software. Mr. Lin holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Princeton University.

Kevin Silver

Vice President Business Development

Kevin leads NVELO's efforts to identify and capture new business opportunities, managing early-stage partnerships, and expanding key client relationships. He most recently served as vice president of marketing and business development during his 11 years with Denali Software. Mr. Silver holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University.

Charlene Eng

Sr. Director of Operations

Charlene is responsible for global operations at NVELO, aligning technology initiatives with business goals to improve service, standardization, and increase overall operational performance. She also oversees NVELO human resources and manages professional services. Prior to NVELO, Charlene served 11 years at Denali Software where she was the director of global operations reporting to the CTO.

Pradeep Bisht

Manager, Software Engineering

Pradeep is responsible for NVELO's R&D efforts, which includes defining the architecture of NVELO's storage software products and managing the engineering team. He previously served as the Software Engineering Manager at Denali Software. Mr. Bisht holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar (India).
