Fixed in: v1.1.2.9
Prior to v1.1.2.9, the Dataplex install process made a restore point, so if there were problems with the installation (sudden power loss, out of disk space, etc) it could revert back. If it takes too long to create a restore point, the install will time out and end. Here is how you get around this issue, should you encounter it:
Look into system restore and make sure that you have the restore file and settings turned on for your C:\
drive.
Once you confirm that, create a restore point and then try to install Dataplex.
Start > right click on Computer > Properties > System Protection
Highlight the C:\
drive in the protection settings and click on Protection Settings > Configure
Verify restore system settings and previous versions of files is checked, and click Create.
Install or uninstall Dataplex
If you are in a corporate environment and your Group Policy has system restore turned off you will not be able to install Dataplex while under a Group Policy login on the earlier versions of software.
