Dataplex installer says I don't have a qualified drive


Symptom:

During installation, Dataplex may inform you that you do not have a qualified drive.


Possible Cause:

This means that the Dataplex installer is having trouble finding the proper SSD drive for your install code. This could be because you're trying to use Dataplex with a non-Dataplex-compatible SSD, or it could be due to other connectivity issues.


Troubleshooting

  1. Make sure you are using Dataplex with a Dataplex compatible SSD product.

  2. Make sure you do not have an older version of Dataplex installed. If you do uninstall it, reboot and try your install again.
