To verify if Dataplex is running:
Make sure you have Administrative privileges on your computer.
From the Windows Start Menu, select All Programs.
Locate and expand the Dataplex folder.
Select Dataplex Status.
Check the Status field. If the status is Enabled, then Dataplex is running. If the status is Disabled, then an event (such as an unclean shutdown) has disabled Dataplex. You must uninstall and then re-install Dataplex to re-enable it.
