We have seen an issue with this particular setup, which is pretty rare, but can be easily corrected. (It is possible that other motherboards could have similar issue, but this is the only one we have confirmed has this issue.)
Symptoms
Your system uses a EVGA Intel P55 motherboard.
Upon the second boot, the system freezes on the Windows boot animation screen, and makes beeping noises. Rebooting again results in a "Dataplex v1.x.x.x: Improper Shutdown Detected" message, with options to Disable, Synchronize or Continue.
Resolution
If you find yourself using this particular setup and encounter this issue, you can resolve it by doing the following:
Choose the Continue option to boot into Windows normally. (You will need to fix it now, or the problem will recur on the next boot).
Uninstall Dataplex.
Go to the EVGA support downloads page, download the latest BIOS for your motherboard, and install it. (In our test, the version A74 BIOS fixed the issue, but you should use the latest BIOS available, to be safe.)
Download the latest version of Dataplex and reinstall it on your system.
Once you have updated to the latest BIOS and reinstalled Dataplex, restart your system and the issue should be resolved.
