Software Performance Engineer (Windows Platform)
Samsung’s NVELO System Software Development team is recruiting world-class storage engineers and researchers, who thrive in a small, fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Responsibilities
As a Performance Engineer in the Product Management team, you will play a key role in benchmarking and troubleshooting NVELO products for Windows PC/Tablets, leveraging your considerable technical and analytical expertise to identify opportunities and resolve application problems. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of real-world metrics that can be used to closely monitor the overall performance of our product and to highlight issues/trends before they become major problems. You will be a primary technical interface with our OEM/customers and channel partners.
Education / Experience
The ideal candidate will have many of the following experience and skills:

Programming and scripting experience (C/C++/Perl/Java/Python/other).

Performance testing of commercial Windows--based software solutions.

Experience with Operating Systems (Windows).

Experience with filter drivers, storage stack and/or network stack.

Knowledge of modern SSD technology.
Requirements
-
BS/MS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent.

4+ years of experience in performance and QA testing of software and systems.

Fast learner and team player with effective communication skills.

Proven ability to initiate original and creative technical efforts.

Strong organizational skills, innovative thinker and problem solver.

Ability to multitask, and work effectively in fast paced environment.
